HR Tools

Generic Work Descriptions—Pre-classified descriptions using the new, simplified format , supported by validated rationales and point ratings that are aligned with identified organizational models and defined work streams.

Competency Dictionaries—Two dictionaries that establish a common look and feel across communities of practice. An HR-specific technical dictionary and a behavioural dictionary will (**links and descriptions required**) be developed.

Job Competency Profiles—Generic job competency profiles linked to the generic work descriptions

Information Repository—A repository that provides easy access to all of the tools required to conduct PE work, including a user guide on the application and use of generic HR tools that can be tailored for use by various types of HR organizations across the government.

Change Management Strategy—a strategy in support of implementation of the tools will be developed to facilitate easy integration of generics across the public service.
