Purpose

The purpose of the PE Generics Project is to develop a common approach to support capacity building at all levels of the PE community across the federal public service.

With support from the Public Service Human Resources Management Agency of Canada (PSHRMAC), a Treasury Board submission for project funds, under the Classification Reform Horizontal Initiatives Program (CRHIP), was approved in October 2005. Funds will be used throughout 2005–06 and 2006–07, in support of a series of deliverables, which will ultimately form a shared information repository to be managed by PSHRMAC:
